Thirty years of practice. One consistent conviction.

30+ years in practice
50+ IVF centres designed
India + international

Sushil Wadhwa is an architect from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, who began his professional career in 1995. Over thirty years he has built deep specialisation in healthcare environments — in particular, the design of IVF and fertility centres across India and internationally.

Having designed more than 50 IVF centres from start to finish — working with clients across India's leading fertility groups and international projects in the UAE — Sushil brings an understanding of the sector that goes far beyond architecture alone. Every project starts the same way: engaging honestly with what's actually there — the site, the brief, the people who'll use the space — before a single response is drawn.

"The domain of IVF centre design — patient safety, quality, efficiency, adaptability, and the human experience — is where our core expertise lives. Strong foundations here help us emphasise what matters most."

Studio Syntropy brings deep specialisation in healthcare and IVF centre design — architecture and interiors shaped by the same understanding of clinical function, patient psychology, and human experience.

While our deepest expertise lies in IVF and fertility centres, the same principles — careful listening, clinical intelligence and attention to human experience — guide our work across healthcare and other meaningful environments. Over time, the practice will continue to expand into spaces where thoughtful design can quietly elevate everyday life.

Why Studio Syntropy

Syntropy describes a movement toward greater order, coherence and purposeful form. It reflects how we work — seeking to understand first, evolving ideas with care, and allowing the right solution to emerge. For us, it is both a way of working and a quiet commitment to creating spaces that bring greater clarity, dignity and ease to human experience.

How we work.

Design intelligence first

Everything begins with a question, not a drawing. We engage with the problem deeply before we reach for a solution — because the right question always produces a better answer.

Evidence, not instinct alone

In healthcare design, opinion is not enough. We design with reference to how light, material, and spatial sequence affect patient outcomes — because good design in a clinic is care.

Relationships over rooms

A space is never just its parts. We pay close attention to how spaces, movement, and people relate to each other — because the most valuable improvements are often the ones no one consciously notices.

Built on long relationships

Our most meaningful work has come from clients who returned — because the first project built trust, and the second built something better.

Every project begins with a conversation.
